The great big blue sky, full of white, fluffy clouds
and a bird or two singing a song
Sends the warm glow of sunshine
all over the hills
as the animals all sing along
It’s peaceful and pleasant
Every prairie dog and pheasant
has a home where they peacefully lie
Under the safety and comfort
of the great big blue sky

Long long ago, nature and creature were one
And there was a home for everything
under the sun
No fences are borders,
just wide open spaces to run

Then, out of the dwelling of darkness
first walked a man
Barely surviving, he hunts and he
eats when he can
Define of nature, his home is
wherever he stands

Man gases in fought as he looks

He thinks “if the Sky can have

He can’t control nature,

And in Man’s vain attempt
to control everything that he sees
He’s cut down the woods
and replaced them with industries
He poisons the air,
and he dumps toxic waste in the seas
In men’s vain attempt
to control everything that he sees

Now the great big blue sky
is more black than blue
and the birds are two sickly to sing
The animals left don’t know what to do
For man has destroyed everything
What once was a Home for all creature kind
Is now just never filled grave
I hope that the great big blue sky
